High Quality with Fair Prices
High-quality language mediation first and foremost requires constant improvement of a translator/interpreter’s language proficiency and professional dexterity, while the latter applies even more so to an interpreter. Secondly, it requires continuously deeper penetration into and further expansion of the areas of expertise. Thirdly, it calls for in-depth studies of the source texts/speeches as well as an appropriate formulation of the target texts/speeches. All of this is the result of painstaking and time-consuming efforts. Based on my educational and professional experience, high quality should have first priority and is worth the price paid for it …
